So we had to go to Paso Robles yesterday evening for a concert, and since it was just as hot there as it was here (100+) we decided to hit the coast first.  I could not be more thankful for the detour.  We left temperatures in the 90’s and arrived at the coast to fog and high 60’s.  I got to put on a sweatshirt and everything!  Since I was with the shutterbug hubby, I decided to bring my little camera and follow his lead.  These are a few of my favorite shots.

Moonstone Beach. All these rocks are a natural exfoliant. So much nicer to walk on than sand.

Bad picture, but I wanted to get one of the gentleman that was setting up to do some painting. I so wish I could do that!!

Just trying to see if I could find a picture in these rocks. Only problem was a wave came and washed them away before I could find a composition that I liked.

I Love people doing their thing at the beach. He was waiting patiently, taking some candid shots of the Elephant seals out on the rock in the distance.

Got down close, but not too close so I could get the bubbles rushing through the rocks.

I could not get close enough, but I was intrigued by the one small yellow flower in this giant mass of bushes.

I just liked the composition of this pic.  It is hard to tell, but I think I got my own reflection in the rocks.
